Mice Available
Adult & Senior Female Mice Available Last Updated: 16/09/2026 We currently have a number of adult and senior female mice looking for new homes 🤍 All of the girls pictured have had health and temperament checks and are currently doing well. They have lovely temperaments and are available now. 🏡 Availability: All females pictured are currently available. 💰 Adoption fees: $5–$15 each , depending on the individual mouse’s age, colour, coat/type and other characteristics. There is a mixture of colours and types available, including a couple Manx . ⚠️ Please note: These are older mice , ranging from adults through to seniors, rather than young babies. Approximate ages vary, so please feel free to ask about any individual mouse you’re interested in. Some of our senior girls may naturally have a shorter remaining lifespan than younger mice, so this is something to consider when adopting. Female mice are social and require compatible mouse companionship. They can be adopted in pairs/groups or introduced to an existing suitable female group. Individual photos and further information can be provided if you’re interested in particular girls. These girls still have plenty of love to give and would be perfect for someone happy to offer an older mouse a loving home. 🥰 🍼 Looking for younger mice? We also have baby mice currently growing , with updated photos and availability to be posted soon. Babies will only be listed once they have reached an appropriate age and have been assessed for health, temperament and development , with some also being retained as keepers. Baby mice will generally start from approximately $20–$25+ each , depending on age, colour, coat/type, variety and individual characteristics.

Current Rat Litters Last updated: 16/09/2026 We currently have three beautiful litters growing here at Radiant Rodentry 🐀🤍 The oldest litter was born on 23 August , with the remaining two arriving shortly afterwards. Based on their ages, babies are expected to begin becoming ready for their new homes from approximately mid to late October 2026 . 🏡 Adoption age: Babies do not leave before 8 weeks of age and may stay longer depending on their individual development. ⚠️ Please note: Genders and individual availability will be announced closer to adoption age. Not every baby pictured will be available , as some may be retained as keepers for our breeding program. Babies will be assessed as they grow for health, development and temperament before being offered for adoption. Availability cannot be guaranteed until these assessments have been completed. Photos are provided as a little preview of the litters while they grow and do not represent confirmed available babies . Updates will be posted as the litters develop, with available babies announced once we are confident they are healthy, well socialised and ready to begin looking for their new homes. 🤍

Which Mouse Cage?
Mouse Cage Requirements
FLOOR SPACE SIZE: Minimal: 40cm x 30cm = 1,200 Ideal for Males: 60cm x 40cm = 2,400 Ideal for Females: 80cm x 50cm = 4,000 BAR SPACING: Recommended: 6mm HOUSING: Females in groups 3-4 or more. Males must be housed solo.
Main Cages
Suitable floor space, to allow for your mice to express their natural behaviours. No wire flooring or platforms, they can lead to a bacterial infection called bumblefoot. Adequate depth of base for digging as mice are fossorial animals. Wheel that isn’t too small; ideally 20cm to prevent damage to their spine.

Purpose of a temporary cage: Quarantine (it’s always a good idea to quarantine any new rats for at least 2-4 weeks before adding to the main cage). Hospital (if your rat needs close monitoring or have an injury or is recovering from surgery). Secondary cage (when cleaning the main cage out or travelling somewhere - somewhere to put them). Starter cage (sometimes acceptable if done right for young rats but only for short-term purposes and should be upgraded asap). Breeding purposes.

Foods We Recommend
Mice and rats benefit from consuming whole pellets, which are specifically designed to provide a complete and balanced diet, ensuring they receive all the necessary nutrients. This approach helps prevent selective eating, where rats might only choose the tastiest parts of a mixed food, potentially leading to nutritional deficiencies. Whole pellets also stimulate natural foraging and eating behaviours, enriching their experience. They should have access to their whole pellet food twenty-four seven.

Do Not Use As Main Food
Seed mixes are not ideal for mice because they are often unbalanced and may lead to dietary imbalances and health problems. Mice and rats will selectively pick their favourite seeds (like sunflower seeds), leading to a lack of essential nutrients from other components of the mix. This can result in deficiencies and potentially health issues, in particular when mice have too much fat in their diet it’ll cause greasy coats.
