I had Snack Goals. Chomper had other ideas. 😂 I combined the new One More Bite and Top It Off dies from the Snack Goals Collection with an old favorite, Chomper from the Just Add Cake Birthday Box. This guy showed up for Christmas with a candy cane nearly as big as he is. Fall colors, but make them a little less… fall. 🍂🩵 For my final STAMPtember® 2026 projects, I paired warm oranges, yellows and rusty reds with soft aqua, and I LOVE how much that one color changes the whole mood. These two cards feature the new Graceful Moments stamps, stencils and dies along with the new Watering Can die set, part of Simon Says Stamp's special Stamps + Stencils Spotlight. One design stayed clean and simple. The other got ALL the flowers. Big, open petals are my weakness. There's always room for one more thing. With this one, I really wanted to resist that urge. The fresh blue and green palette already had plenty of personality, and I loved all that beautiful white space. So instead of filling it, I let it be part of the design. Apparently flat flowers weren't going to be enough for me. 😂🌼 Today brings another special Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® 2026 release, this time spotlighting a new collection of embossing folders with coordinating stencils! I chose the new Splendid Daisies Embossing Folder, Stencils and Dies, and I loved the idea of letting a few of those flowers escape the background. After stenciling everything in sunny yellows and soft greens, I die cut several blooms and layered them over the embossed design with their petals gently shaped upward. That little bit of dimension completely changed the feel of the card. If a Christmas tree gives me little places to sneak in some gold, I'm going to take advantage of every single one. ✨ The dimension built into this tree gave me the perfect opportunity to add something unexpected underneath, and metallic gold cardstock was an easy choice. Those little flashes of gold change as the card moves, while the clean shape and all that white space keep things from getting too fussy. I repeated the gold in a few finishing details and then exercised an impressive amount of self-control by stopping there. 😂 This card features the Dimensional Tree die set from the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release. I have never related to a turkey more. 😂 He's stuffed. He's horizontal. He's clearly finished participating in the day. The "Stuffed with gratitude" sentiment made the whole thing even better, so I leaned into his post-feast situation and gave him a nighttime setting with a big moon behind him. I also carried over the same deeper blue I used on my owl card from this month's Spellbinders Clubs. It's not the first color you might think of for a Thanksgiving card, but I love how it makes all those warm oranges and yellows pop. Baa-la-la Christmas cards could use more sheep. 🐑 A little Christmas card with a lot of personality. 🐑🎄 I used OLO markers to add bright rainbow color to the lamb and Christmas lights, then kept everything else crisp and white. A little rainbow color and a whole lot of holiday personality 🐑🎄 For this @simonsaysstamp STAMPtember® card, I kept things clean and bright with lots of white space, layered scalloped edges, and pops of rainbow color from my OLO markers. I especially love that little strand of colorful lights across the top. I think this little guy has found his ideal landing spot. 🦉🍂 Give me a cute owl and a pile of fall leaves and I'm already pretty happy, but I especially loved playing with the color on this one. Instead of sticking entirely with traditional autumn shades, I worked some deep blue and green into the foliage. It gives all those oranges and yellows a little more contrast and makes the whole palette feel richer. Add a moon, a few stars, and those enormous eyes... done. 💛 This card was created with the September Clubs from Spellbinders. Stained Glass Snowflake & Blog Party I only wanted the snowflake. So the snowflake is what I used. 😂❄️ Instead of creating the full stained-glass panel, I concentrated on the individual snowflake inlay and pushed it up into the corner, letting parts of the design disappear right off the card. That left me with lots of white space and one big hit of those cool blues, turquoise, and violet I love together. A few silver details and I called it done. Boo-Yah! No Stitching Required! A stitching die? Sure. Actual stitching? Nope. 😂 I believe in using craft supplies however they make me happy. And stitching does not make me happy. 😂 The Stitching Ghost is designed to be stitched, but I loved the pierced border exactly as it was, so I left it alone and let those little holes become part of the design. No needle. No thread. Still a very cute ghost. 👻 And then there are those tiny candy corns. Happy STAMPtember! It's day 1 and I'm so, so excited for all the fun in store for the month. :-) I'm kicking it off with this fun ghost card. And, yes, I'm still not stitching.... but I *am* still using the stitching dies. 😂 At this point, I think we can safely say needle and thread just aren't going to become part of my card-making personality. But I loved this little ghost, and those stitching holes? I think they're pretty cute all by themselves. That's the fun part. The intended use doesn't have to be the only use. I left the pierced details completely unstitched and made the design work for me instead. This is my first project as an Altenew Ambassador and I'm so, so excited to have been asked to participate! I wanted to not only highlight the @Altenewllc products I love but also keep to my clean and simple style. So, for this card, I combined soft violet blooms with fresh yellow-green foliage for a clean design that lets the layering do the talking. Sometimes my best ideas start with... "I wonder if this would work?" 🤔 There wasn't a stencil for these roads. I simply grabbed the chisel tip of a gray Copic marker and started drawing. A few white gel pen lines later, I had a neighborhood for Frankenstein to wander. Then I scattered candy along the roads so they became his trick-or-treat stops instead of just random embellishments. This card is definitely busier than my usual style, but every once in a while it's fun to throw out the rulebook and just play. I have a confession... I used a Stitch & Create collection... ...without stitching. 😄 As soon as I saw this boot, I fell in love with the shape and the felt flowers. What I didn't fall in love with was the idea of sewing it together. So, I didn't. Instead, I used the dies to cut felt and layered everything onto a card front just like I would with cardstock. The result still has all the warmth and texture of felt, but it fits much better with the way I naturally like to create. That's one of the things I love about crafting. Supplies don't have rules. It started with one very simple thought... "What if the critters had one BIG pinwheel instead of four little ones?" The only problem? I didn't have a giant pinwheel die. Stencil pattern, bold color, and wine glass drama? Card 2 of 2 from my @simonsaysstamp Always There release projects took the same Dot Petal Pattern stencil and decided to be slightly more sophisticated about it. Using the stencil directly inside the glass gave this card a stronger graphic presence while still keeping the full collection cohesive... which is honestly exactly what I want from both crafting and social gatherings.
