GIOIA ANTONUCCI
Gioia is a movement artist, choreographer, educator based in London. Since she moved from Italy to UK in 2012, she trained and performed with her two companies, Untitled by Lukas McFarlane and Definitives by Glenn Hudson and taught classes in studios and institutions like Studio68, Base, The Manor, Kingston University, Rare Studio Liverpool, Royal Academy of Dance and workshops/intensives all over the Uk, Prague, Denmark, Croatia, Switzerland, Italy and Abu Dhabi (UAE), also for events as performer and educator for Nike in the NikeTown London. Her Kingston Uni Company has won Move It and Capezio Championship 2018. She been Movement Director for the Open Cell London Design Festival 2019. She has worked with Joseph Tonga, as dancer and as assistant choreographer, performing at the Royal Opera House. She has also been assistant choreographer to Jasmin Saulo and TNG for Resolution Festival 2024. She has taught at the English National Ballet School for the Professiornal Trainee Program and currently teaches at the Royal Academy of Dance and runs her Joy to the Core Program where she facilitates privates, open classes, intensives and online courses to help dancers navigate their dance career, mentoring them, sharing her methods, tools and tips of her 15 years of experience in the community and industry.
