About Dora

I’m a mindfulness teacher working at the intersection of love, liberation, and healing. I’m the Lead Mindfulness Teacher and Brand Ambassador at Headspace, where I create and guide mindfulness experiences across podcasts, digital platforms, live sessions, and immersive virtual offerings, supporting millions of people in their everyday lives. My teaching is informed by both lived experience and formal training. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I’m a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher through University of California San Diego. This academic foundation shapes a practice that is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and deeply human. My work is rooted in community. Prior to Headspace and during, I spent years as a lululemon ambassador, a Nike wellness trainer, and a community organizer, hosting sold-out mindfulness and wellness events centering the BIPOC community at a time when few spaces like this existed. I was among the first to bring culturally grounded, trauma-informed mindfulness into large-scale community settings and to do so sustainably and successfully. I’m also the founder of a mindfulness teacher mentorship program, supporting emerging teachers in building ethical, embodied, and accessible practices. At the heart of everything I offer is a simple intention: mindfulness for everyday moments, in service of a joyful, liberated way of being.
