About Carousel Casualties

Their story began from a 16 sqm. bedroom. Their debut EP, "Madison," gained recognition in 2017 with hits like “Leona”, Safety”, and “San Junipero”. Beyond Manila's indie scene, they performed with global acts, earning accolades, including a 2019 AWIT Award nomination for "Best Rock Arrangement." In 2020, they explored experimental realms with their debut album "Static Electricity Dreams of Longevity." Today, their chart-topping single “hindi ko alam” under Offshore Music brought a fresh new sound to the band. Emmie, Pau, Ryan, and Tep continue creating music, promising bigger sounds from small rooms.

Emmie Villegas

Singer, guitarist, and professional daydreamer, Emmie brings raw energy and quiet chaos to the stage. When he’s not writing songs that hit you in the feels, he’s probably hanging out with his cats, tinkering with vintage cameras, or getting lost in the magic of film photography. A visual storyteller at heart, Emmie loves shooting photos, directing videos, and sketching illustrations that feel like snapshots of his own mind. HE LOSES HIS STUFF A LOT.

Pau Villanueva

Guitarist, singer, and the undeniable spark of the band, Pau is all about flow—on stage, in life, and sometimes literally with fire. A master of flow arts and fire dancing, she’s got a way of turning every movement into pure poetry. Her jazz and soul roots give her playing a groove that’ll melt your face off one second and make you feel things the next. When she’s not shredding left-handed or setting the vibe with her vocals, she’s deep into crafting electronic beats that sound like dreams dipped in neon.

Tep Fortes

Bassist, and the guy who’ll roast you one second and write the grooviest bass line you’ve ever heard the next. his sharp wit and dark humor keep everyone on their toes, but his playing is pure heart—melodic, precise, and downright funky. With roots in emo and pop punk, plus a not-so-secret obsession with math rock and post rock, Tep brings a whole lot of depth to the band’s sound. Offstage, he’s either hyperfocused on perfecting his parts, hanging with his cats, or organizing his spreadsheets.

Ryan Pineda

Ryan is equal parts mysterious and approachable. With a laid-back vibe that makes him impossible not to like, he’s the glue of the rhythm section, delivering grooves so tight you could set your watch to them. His drumming is all about feel and finesse, with chops that could steal the spotlight but always serve the music first. Offstage, Ryan is the guy you want around for late-night jams, deep convos, or just chilling with good vibes—if he remembers where he’s supposed to be.
